Merry Brunchmas was a holiday brunch we hosted at the shop on a Sunday morning in December, from 9am to noon, with proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
What the morning looked like
Photos with Santa, brunch bites, a face painter working through a queue of kids, and free hot chocolate to keep everyone warm. There was a raffle with prizes from local businesses, and artwork up on the walls for people to browse between plates.

Everything raised that morning went toward their mentorship programs, which pair adult volunteers with kids across the Reno-Tahoe area. It is a local organization doing work worth supporting, and a good reason to put on a brunch.
